Two years ago today, two dogs were injured while racing in Arizona.
In Phoenix Greyhound Park
3/11/08 Night Flyer (not provided) (not provided) (not provided) (not provided) (From Suspension List) “Judges” scratch “pulled up” – As usual no information was provided about the injury. As usual the track veterinarians couldn’t give a damn. Good riddance to PGP.
Thank dog, Night Flyer only ran two races and was rehomed by GPA-AZ.
In Tucson Greyhound Park
3/11/08 Bella Artois dislocated her right toes, a splint was provided but the recovery time was not. Bella ran 29 races and was rehomed by Arizona Greyhound Rescue.
