2010 Greyhound Calendar – Help End Greyhound Racing

When I buy a greyhound calendar, I like to know that the proceeds are going to something I believe in — ending greyhound racing.

That is why I bought the Grey2K USA calendar.

Not only are the photos beautiful but it’s like a monthly reference of milestones of what is happening in the greyhound racing advocacy world.

For instance, who knew that on June 15, 2006, Gov. Jeb Bush (Florida) vetoed $310,000 in proposed dog track subsidies? (Unlike Gov. Fife Symington (Ariz.) who gave away the store to the dog tracks in mid 1990s.)

And what about this? In July 17, 2004, New Hampshire lawmakers approved Grey2K USA’s bill requiring dog tracks to report on greyhound injuries. What an important bill!

There are greyhound calendars and then there are greyhound calendars that not only portray gorgeous greyhounds but this calendar educates us about the demise in greyhound racing and the progress of Grey2K.
