Here’s another reason why greyhound racing needs to cut their losses and go away.

Greyhound racing causes a glut of dogs. There are always more dogs that need homes than homes. It’s supply and demand. The supply of race dogs far exceeds the demand for homes.

In Kenosha, Wisconsin, there are more than 100 dogs that need adoptive homes.

Seasonal closings always account for a glut of dogs. Many adoption groups try to work together to place these dogs but the pressure is constant. Too many dogs have too many broken legs…further contributing to the ongoing cruelty of the greyhound racing industry.

Imagine your Golden Retriever and then consider the alternative.
