Perhaps the best way to close the place down is to get the fire marshall out there. And maybe the health department as well.
You might not be able to shut them down because of the mistreatment, but that place is a diaster waiting to happen. It might be the only way to go.

Another black mark against TGP.

The Department of Racing seems to have a very nonchalant attitude about the missing greyhounds. This incident happened in October and the racing department is going to look into this in 30 days. Do it now! Put some immediacy into the care of these dogs.

It seems that the actions taken racing department are generally reactive and because there is a whistle blower. What proactive measures is the department of racing taking to safe guard the greyhounds?

Track down what happened to these dogs. There are tattoos to trace and kennel names to trace. More than likely there is money on the table, find out how much some one paid for these dogs. There should be a log of each and every dog at TGP....and every movement of each dog should be noted.

So the greyhounds went from the misery of the race track to the misery of mistreatment hunting coyotes. This sounds like Spain all over again. We are sinking even further into inhumanity.

You can address the issue of the back log of dogs at the TGP by 1) not over breeding looking for a fast dog and/or 2) close the Tucson Greyhound park.
